The case of the dog whose life was taken
Another case has gone viral in the United States: a man brutally murdered a pet,
The owner of the pet told local media in California that he noticed his dog chasing a squirrel and sneaking into his neighbour’s yard, but never imagined his neighbour’s violent reaction.
In that sense, he said that although he alerted the dog in time in the hope that it would return, in the middle of the “chase” his pet did not heed the command and that was when he heard the first three shots fired by the neighbour.
The dog’s owner, a man identified as Marlon Caballero, said that he attempted to mediate before the neighbor’s violent reaction, alerted that the animal, called Canine, was trespassing on his property, and tried to calm the attack, which did not happen.
The man tried to save his dog’s life, but the attacker disagreed.
During a call to the police, Marlon Caballero heard six more shots. The attacker effectively ended the animal’s life for good when he completed a total of nine shots against the dog, though not all were successful.
