A Dog tried to save his cat friend who was in a car accident. Although dogs and cats are great enemies, this event shows that empathy and compassion can overcome all barriers. This heartbreaking moment happened in China.
A dog named Black Panther, stood in the middle of the oncoming road while his feline companion lay dead on the pavement. He then desperately clawed at the corpse and pushed at it with his snout, hoping to wake the cat up. Every time a car approaches, he pushes the corpse to one side or the other to protect it from another impact.
A cat named Moggie, was the victim of a speeding vehicle. The person who recorded the video, Wang Xiaolong, told the media that the cat was probably already dead when the dog saw it.

Wang was on his way home when around 7:00 p.m., he witnessed the accident. He slowed his car and finally stopped to help. The video went viral on Chinese video sharing app Douyin. People were shocked to see the dog trying to revive its dead companion.
“The dog first tried to wake the cat with his mouth and paws. This was so that she could get off the busy road and avoid another run over. But in vain… He was so desperate that he then tried to drag the cat with both front paws to the side of the road, away from all vehicles,” said Mr. Wang.
The owner explained that his dog was used to walking alone in the neighborhood at night. For this reason, the owner was not present at the site. He learned of his dog’s heroics after seeing it on social media.
